Chujun Hu is a London-based Chinese artist currently developing her painting practice at the Royal College of Art, following an MA in Contemporary Art Practice at the RCA. Her work explores the female body, spectatorship and visual consumption. In her ongoing series Unsettled, unstable figuration, layered surfaces and material excess resist fixed images of the body, connecting through ideas of desirability, consumption and transformation.  ​
