Guangyi Luo
Guangyi Luo is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationship between painting, textile, and their coexistence. Working through layered surfaces, repeated marks, organic forms, and deep colour relationships, she draws on flowers, leaves, shadows, and natural textures to examine how growth, pressure, vulnerability, and endurance can occupy the same visual space.
Her series Interwoven Shadows, shown in MA-EC gallery, Milan and Swanfall Gallery, London, reflects her interest in contrast not as conflict, but as a condition of lived experience. Her work invites slow looking, creating paintings that are gradually understood through repetition, return, and the quiet persistence of what remains.
